[Bug 276101] New: Update system tray icons to current monochrome theme

Bugzilla from rsimmons0@gmail.com
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=276101

Summary: Update system tray icons to current monochrome theme
           Product: artwork
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: [hidden email]
        ReportedBy: [hidden email]

Version:           unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4)
OS:                Linux

There are a number of tray icons that don't fit the new monochrome KDE tray
icon theme.  It would be nice if all the icons fit the theme.

I noticed that the KOrganizer icon was updated to almost fit the theme.  It
seems that the icon has been made grayscale.  I would suggest redesigning it so
that it is not just monochrome but highly stylized as the clipboard scissors,
network, and audio icons are.

Other icons that need updates (this is just a small list of things I use, there
are probably many many more):
Printer Applet
KOrganizer Reminder Daemon
KGpg

Reproducible: Always

Agreed. We should provide monochrome Breeze versions of 3rd-party apps that
utilize system tray icons. These icons should be monochrome and automatically
change their color with the active theme, so that they match the plasmoid icons
in the system tray that have those characteristics.

Example apps: Telegram, Riot

Guys, I am getting numerous emails from this list due to being the assignee for various bugs. Could you please fix. I was in touch with you years ago to offer some photographs from my portfolio for wallpapers but have been inactive since. Cheers, Philipp

It's because you're subscribed to [hidden email] mailing list and the assignee was the mailing list. You'd have to unsubscribe yourself from this list or just set up a filter with your mail client.

Cheers
